PROGRAM OPTIONS:

The following fees cover tuition and administrative costs for any combination of courses (limit 2 courses per student) for the 2009 PSP. Students may mix and match courses as they wish, as long as no time conflicts arise. Accommodations, meals, airfare and personal expenses are not included.

4-week program

• $3250: ONE course for 3-4 credits OR no credit
• $3775: TWO courses for 6-7 credits OR no credit

2-week program

(Note: Two-week participants are encouraged to attend JULY 4 TO JULY 18)

• $2250: ONE course; non-credit only
• $2775: TWO courses; non-credit only

KOMENSKEHO KOLEJ (dormitory)

The fees below apply to housing costs at the Komenskeho dorm. A daily buffet breakfast is included in the cost. (PSP reserves the right to increase accommodation prices to cover cost increases due to fluctuating exchange rates). Dorm housing is limited; book early to ensure you can reserve the room type of choice. A photo gallery is available here.

• DORM DOUBLE: You will be assigned a roommate (or you may choose to room with another PSP participant—please indicate who on your application). The double rooms are arranged in suites that share a common area with kitchen and bath. Daily buffet breakfast included. ($530, 4 weeks; $265, 2 weeks)

  



• DORM SINGLE: You share the same kitchen and bath as the shared double accommodations, but you have a bedroom to yourself. Daily buffet breakfast included. ($820, 4 weeks; $410 2 weeks).  

  

PSP participants also have a hotel option for housing while in Prague at drastically discounted rate. (PSP reserves the right to increase accommodation prices to cover cost increases due to fluctuating exchange rates). • HOTEL SINGLE: These are hotel rooms with single bed and private bath. No kitchen facility available; however, a buffet breakfast is included. ($1,800, 4 weeks; $900, 2 weeks)

  

• HOTEL DOUBLE: For couples, or two people who plan to room together. These are hotel rooms that have one double-size bed or two twin beds and a private bath. No kitchen facility available; however, a buffet breakfast is included. ($2,050, 4 weeks; $1,025, 2 weeks)

Other hotel information:

1. Available TV programs in English in all rooms: CNN, BBC and Pay TV
2. There are non-smoking single rooms on the second floor, however, the entire floor is not non-smoking, the rooms lead out  onto a less busy street, Ethernet is available in these rooms.
3. Wireless internet is available in double rooms which are organized in smoking or non-smoking floors.
4. There is airconditioning in all rooms and the rest of the hotel.
5. Wireless internet is available also in the lobby.
6. The fitness room and the pool are available for a fee, which is 100 CZK for an hour.

8. The hotel does laundry for guests and will give us a discount of some sort.
 

DEADLINES AND PAYMENT SCHEDULE:

Application Deadline: May 1, 2009
$250 non-refundable deposit due with application.
Balance will be billed upon acceptance into program and is due in full no later than May 15, 2009. Class size is limited, so apply early.

WMU students please Note: Your student accounts will be billed for all payments. Do not make any payments via the online application system.

LATE APPLICATIONS:

Late applications will be considered; however, applications submitted after May 1, 2009 must be accompanied by full payment. ($250 is non-refundable upon acceptance into the program.)

REFUND POLICY:

• More than 31 days prior to departure * 100% refund of program fee, except for  $250 non-refundable deposit.
• 15 to 31 days prior to departure * 50% of program fee.
• 14 days or fewer prior to departure * No refund.
